With a spicy and sweet fragrance, it is regarded as a purifier of the mind, body and spirit. Holy Basil is quite different to the basil used in Mediterranean cooking. In Hinduism it is regarded as sacred and is used in various spiritual rituals. Its fragrance is a combination of liquorice and clove, giving it a spicy, sweet, refreshing aroma. Nature’s Shield Holy Basil oil is certified organic and sustainable and is steam distilled extracted, stored in air-tight amber glass containers preserving its naturally derived qualities. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
