Organic Grape Seed Oil

Natures Shield Grape seed oil is cold press-extracted from the seeds of grapes. One of the oldest cultivated plants in the world, it was grown in Ancient Egypt, Babylon and India for its fruit, juice and wine. The first mention of grape seed oil is from 1569 in Europe. The oil is currently used in cosmetics and skincare and as a nutritious oil in the food industry.

It contains:

1. Vitamin E which is a cosmetic chemical that protects against the dehydrating effects of the sun and moisturises the skin.
2. It contains a cosmetic component called proanthocyanidin, which has been shown to brighten and even skin tone.
3. Omega chain fatty acids, make it deeply moisturising to the skin. Research has shown grape seed oil can improve the skin’s elasticity and softness.

​PLASTIC-FREE SUPPLY CHAIN
Nature's Shield have now implemented a plastic-free supply chain programme for organic grape seed oil. This means our raw material (organic grape seed oil) comes in steel drums from overseas , is then stored in stainless steel tanks and gets filled into glass bottles using Australian-made filling machines. So our glass retail bottles and supply chain are plastic-free to take better care of you and the environment. 

Advisable allergy test
To perform an allergy patch test with an oil, dab a few drops of oil to the elbow, wrist or knee and wait 24–48 hours to check for any signs of irritation or allergic reaction.
