Description
Black Sesame oil, regarded in India as the ‘Queen of Oils’, is a versatile oil which can be used in cooking and for skin and hair-care. Nature’s Shield black sesame oil is wild-crafted and sustainable and is cold-press extracted, for preservation of its naturally derived qualities.

Uses
Massage, skin, hair and scalp care, cooking, frying, sauces and salad dressings.

1. A staple ingredient in Asian cooking and Ayurvedic system, black sesame seed oil is an amazing gift from nature.
2. Richer in calcium and magnesium than milk.
3. They are rich in sesamin and sesamolin.

This means our raw material (organic black sesame oil) comes in steel drums from overseas , is then stored in stainless steel tanks and gets filled into glass bottles using Australian-made filling machines. So our glass retail bottles and supply chain are plastic-free to take better care of you and the environment. 

Advisable allergy test
To perform an allergy patch test with an oil, dab a few drops of oil to the elbow, wrist or knee and wait 24–48 hours to check for any signs of irritation or allergic reaction.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. 

FAQ:

Q: I can see some residue on the bottom of bottle, is this normal?
A: Black sesame oil is a natural source of omega fatty acids. Any good quality unrefined black sesame oil may solidify at lower temperatures. This simply shows the purity of the unrefined, cold-pressed oil .
​Warming the oil by placing the bottle in warm water will make them disappear.
